Card Analyzer started as a spreadsheet problem.

A collection of a few thousand graded cards is worth something, but not a number anyone can state. Price guides average across grades. Marketplace listings are asks, not sales. The one honest answer, what did this exact card at this exact grade actually sell for, is scattered across auction records that nobody keeps.

So we built the thing that keeps them.

Card Analyzer reads certified population data, matches a card to its specification, pulls the dated sales for that specification at that grade, and returns a number with the sales attached. If you disagree with the number you can look at the comps and say why. That is the whole idea: a price you can argue with is worth more than a price you cannot.

Underneath the pricing sits a reference layer that most valuation tools skip. Who the player was. What he led the league in, and in which seasons. Whether he is in a Hall of Fame and what year he went in. How many of this card exist at this grade and how many grade higher. A 1966 Koufax is not expensive because a formula says so; it is expensive for reasons, and the reasons are data.

We are a small operation in Clifton, New Jersey. The software is built and run by us, on our own servers, without a venture round or a growth team. The collection that seeded the database is a real one, bought over years, and it is the first thing we will sell through this site.
